Fantastic chicken recipe, bursting with Moroccan Flavors!
Marinade Ingredients:
6 cloves of Garlic
1 tbsp kosher salt
2 tbsp Luvafoodie Moroccoan Lovers Spice
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon zested and juiced.
6 boneless chicken thighs
Main Dish Ingredients:
3 cups chicken stock
1 yellow onion peeled and chopped.
6 tbsp flour
2 tbsp Olive oil
2 tbsp Luvafoodie Moroccan Lovers spice
1 bunch of fresh parsley
1 lemon
6 oz black olives
1In a large bowl, mix 2 tbsp. Luvafoodie Moroccan Lovers spice with lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and oil. Add chicken thighs and mix. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
2Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
4Remove chicken from marinade, and pat dry.
5Lightly coat the chicken with flour.
6Heat oil in large pot over medium heat. Place chicken skin side down in pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until browned. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
7Add the onion and cook until softened, sauté for 5 minutes.
8Slowly stir in stock and leftover marinade and lemon remnants and stir in olives.
9Add 2 tbsp. Luvafoodie Moroccan Lovers spice, lemon slices and cilantro. Bring to boil and over high heat. Add chicken to tagine pot or baking pan. Bake for 40 minutes. Tagine can go into oven.
10Discard parsley and lemon. Plate and serve.
