Luvafoodie Garlic Lovers Naan

Serve with Homemade Goat Cheese or alone!

 1 tsp sugar
 ¾ cup water
 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
 ½ Greek yogurt, plain
 1 tsp salt
 1 tbsp olive oil
 2 tbsp garlic, finely minced.
 2 tbsp cilantro leaves
 4 tbsp salted melted butter.

In a small bowl, add sugar, warm water, and yeast together. Stir to combine well.

Transfer the flour to a flat surface and make a well in the middle. Add the yeast mixture, yogurt, oil and knead the dough until the surface becomes smooth and shiny, for about 10 minutes.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. The dough should double the size.

Divide dough into 8 equal portions. Roll the dough to an 8” circle using rolling pin. Sprinkle and press minced garlic and chopped cilantro leaves on top of dough.

Heat up a cast-iron skillet over high heat, add oil.

Place dough with garlic and cilantro side up on skillet. When the naan dough puffs up and bubbles, flip it over and fry other side. Repeat until all dough is fried.

Add butter, add Luvafoodie Garlic Lovers spice and brush over each piece of naan bread.

Serve warm
