Luvafoodie Chocolate Snowflake Cookies

Fun holiday cookie recipe to make with kids!

 ¾ cup butter, softened
 3 bags of Luvafoodie white chocolate snowflakes (36 snowflakes)
 1 cup sugar
 ½ cup powder sugar
 1 large egg
 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
 ½ cup dark cocoa powder
 1 tsp baking soda
 2 tsp cornstarch

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl using hand mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes

Add egg and vanilla and mix until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and cornstarch, then add wet ingredients and mix until combined.

Form tablespoons of cookie dough into a ball, and roll in powder sugar and place on cookie sheet.

Bake until edges are set and centers look mostly set, about 7 minutes.

Remove from oven and immediately press a Luvafoodie white chocolate snowflake into the center of each cookie.

Let cookies cool on cooling rack. Store cookies in an airtight container.
