Luvafoodie Spicy BBQ Chicken Kebabs and Roasted Asparagus

Plate BBQ Chicken Kabobs with Roasted Asparagus, serves 4.

  • Yields: Serves 4

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts cubed into pieces

½ green pepper cut up cubed into pieces

½ yellow pepper cut up cubed into pieces

½ yellow onion cut up cubed into pieces

1 bunch of asparagus

2 cups of ketchup

½ cup of minced yellow onion

½ Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Whiskey

½ cup of brown sugar

1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce

1/3 cup of cider vinegar

3 tbsp. of Luvafoodie BBQ Lovers Spice Blend

2 tbsp. Luvafoodie Garlic Lovers Spice Blend

3 tbsp. olive oil

Directions

1Preheat Oven to 375 degrees.

2In a saucepan, sauté onions with 1 tbsp. olive oil and 1 tbsp. Luvafoodie Garlic Lovers Spice Blends.

3Add to saucepan, ketchup, cider vinegar, brown sugar, whiskey, Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp. Luvafoodie BBQ Lovers spice.

4Simmer for 20 minutes, set aside

5Soak wooden skewers in water or use metal skewers.

6Alternated adding chicken and vegetables to four skewers.

7Rinse asparagus and cut off bottom of spears ½ inch.

8On a baking pan put chicken skewers on a pan and brush with olive oil.

9On a separate baking pan put asparagus on pan and brush with olive oil and top with 1 tbsp. Garlic Lovers Spice Blends.

10Bake Chicken Kabobs for 20 minutes, then baste with BBQ sauce, bake another 10 minutes.

11Bake asparagus for 15 minutes.
