Luvafoodie Butternut Squash Soup

4 tbsp Butter

2 pounds Butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cut 1/2-inch chunks

3/4 cup chopped Onion

3/4 cup chopped Celery

2 tbsp grated Ginger

1 Apple, peeled, seeded and cut into chunks

1/2 cup Apple Juice

6 cups Chicken Broth

2 tsp Luvafoodie Garlic & Green Herb Salt Free Spice Blend


Parmesan Cheese - garnish


1Heat butter in large saucepan until hot

2Add Squash, Onions, Celery, Ginger and Apple and Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Add apple juice and broth. Heat to boiling.

3Reduce heat to simmer and cook covered until squash is tender. Remove from heat and pure until smooth .

4Stir in Luvafoodie Garlic and Green Herb Spice Blend.

5Garnish with parmesan cheese
