I recently received some new chili mix and pickles from Cindy Reed Wilkins Company Cin Chili & Company.

I made a Chili Soup recipe using CINDEROSA Texas Style Chili Mix that will soon will be posted on our recipe tab at www.Luvafoodie.com. The CINDEROSA Chili mix had a nice balance of chili peppers, garlic, salt, jalapeno peppers and onions. My chili soup recipe will be perfect to serve for Game Day or a cold wintery night.

Cindy is an award winner of the Terlingua, TX International Chili Championship in 1992 and 1993.
In 2006 Cindy was chosen by the Food Network, to go up against Bobby Flay, on his soon to be released new show, called Throwdown with Bobby Flay.  Cindy’s segment was the first season, third episode, called the Chili Challenge.  Cindy is the only person in Throwdown history to tie Bobby. Her products are available to buy on her website at www.cinchili.com. I highly recommend to my Luvafoodie community and members to try her product line. Some of her other products you can purchase on her website are Snacks, Hot Sauces, BBQ Sauces, Seasonings and Passion Pickles.

Passion Pickles Habanero are Homestyle pickles have a nice balance of sweet and heat. I love eating pickles and can tell you these pickles are very good. The pickle juice is made from Cin Chili’s Hell’s Passion Habanero Hot Sauce. I love the name also and the label has Cindy in a devil outfit. These pickles would be great chopped up and mixed with cream cheese and spread on a cracker or ham roll-up appetizer. The pickles would spice up a tuna salad or a chicken salad!
