Ingredients:

  • 1 4.25 oz. Can of crabmeat, drained
  • ¼ cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ¼ cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. of minced garlic
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. of Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp. of Old Bay seasoning
  • 3 tbsp. of olive oil

Ingredients for Cocktail Sauce:

  • ½ cup of ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. of horseradish sauce
  • 1 tbsp. of lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. of minced garlic
  • ¼ tsp. of sriracha sauce

Directions:

  1. In a frying pan add 1 tbsp. of olive oil, shallots, and garlic sauté until tender about 10 minutes.
  2. Add cooked onions, shallots and garlic to a bowl.
  3. Mix in crab meat, bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, and mustard, Old Bay and lemon juice.
  4. Form crab mixture into 12 mini size cakes.
  5. In a frying pan heat 2 tbsp. of olive oil.
  6. Add crab cakes, cook over medium heat until each side is browned.
  7. In small bowl combine all the cocktail sauce ingredients.
  8. Serve crab cakes with cocktail sauce on the side.
