Ingredients:
- 1 4.25 oz. Can of crabmeat, drained
- ¼ cup of bread crumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- ¼ cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. of lemon juice
- 1 tsp. of minced garlic
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 1 tbsp. of Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp. of Old Bay seasoning
- 3 tbsp. of olive oil
Ingredients for Cocktail Sauce:
- ½ cup of ketchup
- 1 tbsp. of horseradish sauce
- 1 tbsp. of lemon juice
- ½ tsp. of minced garlic
- ¼ tsp. of sriracha sauce
Directions:
- In a frying pan add 1 tbsp. of olive oil, shallots, and garlic sauté until tender about 10 minutes.
- Add cooked onions, shallots and garlic to a bowl.
- Mix in crab meat, bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, and mustard, Old Bay and lemon juice.
- Form crab mixture into 12 mini size cakes.
- In a frying pan heat 2 tbsp. of olive oil.
- Add crab cakes, cook over medium heat until each side is browned.
- In small bowl combine all the cocktail sauce ingredients.
- Serve crab cakes with cocktail sauce on the side.
